Colyer Herefords first-ever Internet Heifer Auction was open for bidding July 20 until closing July 31, 2002. The response was overwhelming! Over 100 bidders registered to participate in this event which offered 20 Colyer Horned Hereford Heifer Calves. We were pleasantly suprised to see so many new people taking part in addition to those we knew! The auction began closing with the first heifer, 2077, at 6:00 p.m. and each successive lot closed every ten minutes thereafter. There were many exciting and tense moments watching the bidding go on over the 3+ hours until bidding on the final heifer was closed! Thank you to everyone that participated in this auction.
