High Selling Heifers

Colyer Herefords second annual Internet Heifer Auction was open for bidding July 25 until closing July 31, 2003. This year the response was overwhelming! Over one hundred bidders registered to participate in this event which offered 20 Colyer Horned Hereford Heifer Calves and one bred heifer. We were pleasantly suprised to see so many new people taking part in addition to those we knew!

The auction began closing with the first heifer, 3031, at 6:00 p.m. and each successive lot closed every ten minutes thereafter. There were many exciting and tense moments watching the bidding go on over the 3+ hours until bidding on the final heifer was closed! We apologize for any computer errors that occured and promise to get things working better for next years sale.
