Jason Hoffman teamed
up with Coyote Creek to buy last year's top selling female. Another
top investment as this female, "Notice Me Now", was Junior
Calf Champion Heifer in Denver before claiming the Grand Champion honors
in Fort Worth. She was flushed this spring giving 7 plantable eggs.
John Glascock Jr. purchased a heifer down in the sale order in 2002
that went on to become Reserve Grand Champion at the Junior National
Show as well as winning the Illinois preview show. Her first calf looks
tremendous. "C Amber 3062" is also establishing a great
track record for Stephanie Buchholz. She won the Reno Junior Show,
Reserve
Champion in Denver, Reserve Junior Calf Champion in the open show
at Forth Worth, Champion at San Antonio (combined show), Reserve
Grand
in Houston, and recently named Grand Champion at the Texas state
show.
Other sale heifers
are having great success for such noted exhibitors as the Mickelson
family in California, the Curry's in Oklahoma, the Ernst family
in Colorado, and Kyle Perez in New Mexico. Such notable herds as
Nine
Cross in Arizona, Pete Loehr in Illinois, George Wooley in Texas,
C & L
in WI, and Detweiler Land and Cattle in Ohio have also added females
to update their notable herds.
The best is yet to
come for all of these females as they enter the breeding programs to
produce the elite cattle of the future.
This year's offering
has some unique females backed by the pedigrees and EPD's sought after
in the Hereford industry. Don't overlook any of them, as they are what
we consider the top 14 heifers in our herd. To guarantee this, if you
purchase any female in the auction and find one better at weaning,
we'll trade you straight across.
If you have questions
about the auction or any of the heifers, don't hesitate to contact
us.
Sincerely,
The Colyer family
P.S. We have both VHS and DVDs available on the heifers and their dams.
