Here is a female by the Canadian Reserve National Champion Bull "Absolute". We used this young sire because of his moderate size, muscle shape, and maternal strength. This female offers some outcross genetics for many breeders. Her mother "8104" is the dam of "212M" who was used very successfully here for many years. We purchased "8104" in the 2005 Cooper cow sale with Malson Ranch of Parma, ID. She is as deep bodied and easy fleshing as any cow we have seen. Her progeny can be found in many top operations in the nation and we feel her proven carcass traits make her very valuable to our operations. "7013" is a deep sided dark red female that has that cow look. As time goes on she reminds me of the "Amber" female purchased by Joe Dan Ledbetter in this sale a few years ago. She has that same body and rib structure which made that female so dominant. We see her as being a tremendous cow prospect and if she continues on the same path she could become a great show heifer. |
